Evening menu

We serve menu 1 and menu 2 every other day.

You can choose between 3 or 5 courses.



We can also serve 7 and 10 course tasting menus by arrangement. Get in touch for an offer on this

We offer both gluten-free and lactose-free dishes. We can make arrangements for food allergies or food preferences.

Menu 1

Carpaccio of grava and smoked venison

mature mountain cheese from Myrdal, red onion jelly, sprouts


Oven-baked cuttlefish

peas, brown butter with onions and capers


Onion soup

cheese from Myrdal, sprouts


Fillet of deer

walnut purée with smoked cream, sliced potato, gravy, butter-fried Brussels sprouts and mushrooms


Chocolate cake

blackcurrant jelly, vanilla ice cream and coconut crumble

Deer tartar

cheese shells with Myrdal cheese, deer tartar, beetroot mayonnaise, mushroom jelly and sprouts


Butter-fried cauliflower

cauliflower puree, brown butter with soya onions and capers


Oxtail soup

oxtailterin and herbs


Cod with roasted hazelnut lid

mushroom sauce with juniper smoked cream, mashed potatoes with horseradish, broccolini and pickled onions


Apple panna cotta

apple compote and caramel flakes

Beetroot tartar

cheese shells with Myrdal cheese, beetroot tartar, mushroom jelly and sprouts


Butter-fried cauliflower

Spicy carrot soup

paprika and chilli rosted chickpeas


Celery root beef

mushroom sauce with juniper smoked cream, mashed potatoes with horseradish, broccolini and pickled onions


Chocolate cake

Vegetarian menu must be ordered before 15:00 on the same day.

For stays over several days, the menu will be prepared differently from day to day.

Here you can find the menu for the coming days.

We serve 3 and 5 course menus.

7 and 10 course menus must be agreed in advance.

For groups and conference guests, we arrange our own menu.


On the days we have our own event with a dining experience (e.g. chef's dinner), individual guests who will not be taking part in the event will be offered a menu made up of dishes that are served at the event.

Lunch

We have lunch from 12-3pm. Get in touch in advance to order.

We offer both gluten-free and lactose-free dishes. Vegetarian food is available.

Restaurant

The restaurant has a historic style and we set the tables with damask tablecloths and cloth napkins, and with candelabras and flowers from the garden in season. We are happy to cater for groups in the Malenesalong or in the Vinkjelleren for those who wish to do so.

Bar

We have a friendly, unsnobbish and cozy bar and reception at Haaheim. Here you can be social or relax with a book or knitting. You can get coffee, tea, a beer or a glass of wine - and the bartender is happy to mix whatever you want.
