A small world of sweets and flavors from a bygone era

In the general store at EH Vaage you will find more than goods – you will find little treasures of taste and craftsmanship, made with love and tradition. Here we make our own treats, both from the small chocolate workshop and from the kitchen at Haaheim.

On the shelves are homemade chocolates, crispy biscuits, jams and marmalades that taste of summer and sun-ripened berries. You will find local apple juice – pressed with care – and a selection of our own cured and smoked specialties, just like they were made in the old days.

All of this is made with the simple, the authentic, and the good in mind – just as they did when the steamboats docked and trade flourished on Eie.
