For private parties, we can also offer a set menu with 11 courses – a journey we have called The Taste of Vestland.
Here you can taste what we have smoked, cured, pickled and pickled – depending on what the weather and seasons have given us in the Westfjords.
Each dish tells a little story from fjord and mountain, from boathouse and barn.
And as always, we cook with heart and hand – just like it was done before.
An example of a menu is;
- Herring with cold foxes
- Smoked mackerel with apple and potato
- Sardines with eggs and buttered rye bread
- Smoked and cured duck breast with pickled pears and blue cheese
- Sandwiches with smoked trout, egg salad on wholemeal rye bread
- "Veterinarian's night meal": coarse liver pâté, pickled beetroot, bacon and rye bread
- Roast beef with crispy fried onions and potato salad
- Copa ham with beetroot salad
On the table:
Rye bread and whipped butter
Dessert
- Sour milk pudding with brown cheese caramel sauce and fresh berries
