Outdoor activities involving hunting and fishing have traditionally been male-dominated.

In recent years, however, the proportion of women has increased.

Are you one of those who have thought about taking the hunting test, but have been unsure if this is something for you?

Maybe this course for ladies is the right one?

We invite you to a very special course, with accommodation and food at fantastic Håheim Gård in Tysnes.

The course runs over two weekends - in week 10 and 11 (2023) Friday to Sunday

After the course has been completed - the exam must be passed in order to be registered in the Hunter Register. Such registration is a prerequisite for hunting, felling or trapping in Norway.

The course gives the participants an understanding and the prerequisites for developing good attitudes towards hunting and hunting practice, as well as basic knowledge about humane and safe hunting, weapons and shooting, species, legislation and hunting and trapping practice.

3. Humane and safe hunting in practice

4. Shotgun and rifle shooting

5. Species knowledge

6. Laws and regulations

7. Hunting forms

8. Search for injured game

9. Handling of field game.
