The Chefs Dinner is a collaboration between a team of talented chefs who come together to create a feast which celebrates local and traditional Nordic food. The event offers guests the opportunity to taste a large selection of exceptional dishes.
It is the creative project of four experienced chefs, who came together out of a shared enthusiasm for local produce and local cuisine. In the team are chefs Nils Henning Nesje, the owner of Mat med Hjert (Food with Heart), Gunnar Nagell Dahl, head of Slowfood Bergen and founder of Bergen Mat Festival, Preben Moen from celebrated Gloppen Hotel and Torstein Hatlevik owner of Haaheim Gaard.
Chefs Dinner is one of Western Norway’s greatest showcases of local food and drink. Learn about Nordic culture through food! The chefs show off their technical ability and creativity. Local produce and traditional techniques are entwined with modern flare to create a truly memorable dining experience.
We hold dinners at selected times across the year at Haaheim Gaard, Gloppen Hotel and Storfjord Hotel.
